AIM is a Madrid-based team of conference interpreters trusted by governments, European Union and United Nations bodies, and companies for which a misunderstanding is not an option. We manage the entire language dimension of your event — the interpreters, the booths and the technical equipment that connects them — through a single team and a single point of contact, from the initial estimate to the final session. We have worked to the same professional standard for three decades and are certified to ISO 23155, the international standard developed specifically for conference interpreting.
Any agency can send an interpreter. Before they commit, institutional and corporate clients ask more demanding questions: who accredits those interpreters, and who remains accountable when the outcome depends on precision. On both counts, our position is clear.

Interpreting at this level is not a question of fluency but of mastering the language of the room before entering it. Our interpreters come from a range of professional backgrounds, which enables us to place the right specialist before each audience.
We work across legal and arbitration proceedings, where every interpreted word forms part of the record; financial and fintech events, from shareholder meetings to investor roadshows; and the agri-food sector, with its trade fairs and technical visits. We also interpret at medical and pharmaceutical meetings, where an inaccurate term in a clinical-trial session is unacceptable, and at tourism and destination events, as well as in the fields of fashion, art and culture, where the tone of a message is as important as its accuracy.
Every interpreter at AIM is a member of AIIC, the International Association of Conference Interpreters, or, in the case of our associates, a precandidate on the same path. Several also hold official accreditation with the institutions of the European Union and the agencies of the United Nations — a distinction earned individually, through the rigorous process those bodies require before admitting anyone to their booths.
AIM is certified to ISO 23155, the international standard for conference interpreting services. It defines how we prepare each assignment, form each team and manage the technical work in the booth, and it provides procurement departments with a verifiable credential rather than a simple assurance.
AIM provides simultaneous interpreting into Spain’s co-official languages for the Congreso de los Diputados, the lower house of the Spanish Parliament, in partnership with AIB. Contracts of this nature are awarded through open public tender and audited throughout. It is the most demanding reference a firm can hold in this market, and one that no competitor can replicate.

Real-time interpreting from soundproof booths, for congresses, shareholder meetings and international panels. The audience follows the speaker in their own language, without interruption. It is the appropriate format for a full agenda or for any event conducted in more
The interpreter listens as the speaker completes a passage and then renders it in full. This format suits press conferences, contract signings, bilateral negotiations and smaller meetings where a booth would be unnecessary. It is slower than simultaneous interpreting, yet more personal, and often the more suitable choice for a room of ten rather than an auditorium of three hundred.
Interpreters who accompany your delegation on factory audits, trade fairs at IFEMA, diplomatic missions and site visits. This work takes place on the move and away from the stage, and calls for interpreters who are attuned to the dynamics of a meeting and maintain complete discretion.
When part of your audience attends in person and part attends remotely, we manage the platform and the multilingual streaming so that both receive the same standard of service. Remote simultaneous interpreting (RSI) also allows us to engage a specialist in a rare language combination without the need to bring anyone to Madrid.
Spanish Sign Language (LSE) interpreting and EasyTo-Understand interpreting (ILS), for events that must reach deaf attendees or a broader public. Increasingly required of public institutions and universities by law, these services are rarely offered in-house by conference-interpreting firms in Madrid. We provide them as standard.
